Directions to our cabins traveling I-59 north from Fort Payne, Gadsden, and Birmingham.
Cabins 1 - 7
Traveling on I59 you will get off at the Hammondville Exit (EXIT 231 about 10 to 15 miles or so north of Fort Payne). You will turn right on AL 117 toward Hammondville and Valley Head. Stay on AL 117 and go through both towns and start up Lookout Mountain toward Mentone. About half way up the mountain (at the Mentone city limit sign) you will turn a sharp right onto Tutwiler Gap. It is a small winding road that takes you up to the top of the mountain. ( 1 mile) You will come to an intersection at the top of the mountain. Yield to the RIGHT on County Road 89 toward Desoto State Park. You will travel 1.7 miles and there will be a dirt road on your left. A black mailbox is at the road saying "Whispering Pines" You will take that dirt road left. It will be marked DeKalb Co Rd 9081. "Whispering Pines" is immediately on your left. Adjoining "Whispering Pines" around the corner to your left are "Sticks 'N Stones" and "Sweet Dreams". "Sweetheart's Delight" is at the fork in the road. "Serenity" is just passed "Sweetheart's Delight" Take left (cabin on the right). To" Enchanted" go right past "Sweetheart's Delight" and it is the next cabin on the right. These six log cabins are on adjoining property.
- "Mystic Hideaway" is at a seperate location. "Mystic Hideaway" is located in a seperate location a couple of miles past cabins 1 -7. Continue on County Road 89 toward Desoto State Park to County Road 600. Turn left onto County Road 600. "Mystic Hideaway" is located one quarter mile on the right at 250 Co. Rd. 600.
Cabin 8: Mystic Hideaway

Yield to the RIGHT on County Road 89 toward Desoto State Park. You will travel 3.0 miles and there will be a dirt road on your left. DeKalb County 600. It will be chert and gravel. At the road will be a Dixie's Handcrafted Jewelry Sign and Saranac Lodge sign. Travel 1/4 mile down the road. Mystic Hideaway will be on the right. Located at 250 Co. Rd 600.

Directions to our cabins from Mentone.
Take DeKalb Co Rd 89 in downtown Mentone toward Desoto State Park. (Lookout Mountain Parkway) Go straight at the stop sign (5 way intersection). Follow dirctions above. Turn left on DeKalb Co Rd 9081 for cabins 1 -6 or go another couple miles to County Road 600 and take left to Mystic Hideaway (Located on the right).
